We are currently hiring experienced Leadman/Journeyman Electricians as well as a Junior Level Project Manager to support residential, commercial, and military installation projects throughout the region, including work at Camp Lejeune and surrounding bases.

Necessary Qualifications for Leadman/Journeyman Electrician

  • Valid North Carolina Limited Electrical license or equivalent (must be current and in good standing)
  • Minimum 4–5 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a licensed electrician (additional 2+ years of crew leadership or supervisory experience required for Leadman roles)
  • Proven experience in residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, panel upgrades, and code-compliant work (military/base experience preferred due to company projects at Camp Lejeune and surrounding installations)
  • Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and OSHA safety standards
  • Ability to obtain and maintain base access for military installations (requires clean background check and eligibility for DoD-related security screening)
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check (as required by company policy)
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Construction safety certification (or willingness to obtain immediately upon hire)
  • Valid North Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • Physical ability to perform electrical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods
  • Strong leadership and communication skills (especially for Leadman positions) to direct crews, read blueprints, coordinate materials, and ensure jobs stay on schedule and within budget
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service in a fast-paced contracting environment

Necessary Qualifications for Junior Level Project Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and field experience)
  • 1–3 years of experience in electrical construction, project coordination, or assistant project management roles (electrical contracting or commercial/residential experience strongly preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, NEC codes, permitting processes, and construction scheduling
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar), Microsoft Office Suite, and basic estimating software
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and stakeholders
  • Ability to obtain and maintain base access for military installations (clean background check and drug screening required)
  • Valid North Carolina driver’s license with reliable transportation
  • OSHA 30 Construction safety certification (or ability to complete within first 30 days)
  • Demonstrated ability to support project estimating, scheduling, change orders, and client communications under the direction of senior project managers
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow within a small, family-operated electrical contracting company
